The home is in the quiet Joshua Tree Highlands, the most beautiful and convenient area in Joshua Tree. You'll be only 5 minutes from the national park entrance in one direction and 5 minutes from the town in the other direction. The home is one of the few in the area on a paved road for easy access, yet has plenty of privacy and is surrounded by stunning scenery.

Guest Access

The property is a full 2 acres and guests are allowed access to the entire property to explore the many native Joshua trees, cacti, and other native flora on the property. The cabin has a couple steps to the porch and another couple steps from the porch to get inside. The house has only about an 8 inch step from the driveway to the porch and threshold to get in the house of only an inch. The house is very friendly for those with trouble walking or in a wheelchair.

Everything was wonderful! We were able to make great use of the kitchen and the property itself was beautiful. Everyone kept commenting on how great the whole place was. Colin was flexible and very responsive, he checked in on us throughout the stay which was much appreciated. Would stay here again!

Great stay at this lovely property. Comfortable place, great well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, unpretentious, homey. Exactly what we were looking for. Colin's Road Runner Ranch Home & Cabin at Joshua Tree are the REAL DEAL! My Husband and I went to the desert for his 40th Birthday. Colin's home was the perfect size. The property is easy to find, very close to Joshua Tree National Park, and close enough to civilization that we could have groceries and food delivered if needed. The privacy at Colin's home is perfect. I chose Colin's home because he was upfront and honest about the location of cameras and because his property is large and neighbors are not right nextdoor. The pool was inoperable but the hot tub was perfect. The Cabin is cute. The dogs loved running around the desert, and smelling new things. Hot water in the home does not last very long. That only became an issue when we returned from a hike and everyone wanted to shower. Overall, this was my first AirBnB experience and I couldnt have been more pleased. If you are looking for a great place to stay I would definitely recommend Collin's Road Runner Ranch Home & Cabin!

Colin’s place was absolutely perfect for our group of 4 couples, a baby and 3 dogs! The home was spotless, stylish and relaxing, big enough for everyone to hang out comfortably. The property is so big and the landscaping is beautiful, we felt like we woke up in the remote dessert with the gorgeous views from all of the windows. It’s quiet too, a perfect spot to get away. Colin was kind to allow us to check in a little early due to baby’s schedule. The kitchen had everything we need and more and the hot tub was a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors but not get too cold. We will definitely come here again!

The perfect place for a family or friend gathering just outside Joshua Tree National Park. You are situated just 2 miles from the entrance to the park, yet the space is super quiet and peaceful at night. The space is big and can easily accommodate 2 to 3 families. Colin is extremely responsive and helpful. We've rented this place twice now and won't hesitate to do it again!

Find us

One mile from the main park entrance and two miles to the town of Joshua Tree, this cabin is easy to find and makes navigating the area a breeze. I would not recommend renting my home if you do not have a car although you can get get an Uber/Lyft from Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree if needed.
